Biography
Skandar Keynes was born on 5th September 1991 in London. He attended the Anna Scher theatre school between from 2000 to 2005, and his first professional acting role was as the younger Enzo Ferrari in Ferrari (2003). He later landed the role of Edmund Pevensie in the film adaptation of C.S Lewis' The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (2005) and was the last of the Pevensie children to be cast. Unlike the others who had all endured an 18 month long casting process, Skandar was cast within just a couple of weeks. After he had been spotted, he attended three or so auditions in the space of a week before landing the part. He is expected to be appearing in the next two installments of the Chronicles of Narnia series, Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader which may be filmed back-to-back in 2008. |
